Hal Puthoff founded the SRI remote viewing program in 1972 under contract to the Central Intelligence Agency. The program continued under various code names through 1995. Independent of that work, Puthoff has published peer-reviewed papers on zero-point energy and metric engineering.
During the AATIP era (2007 to 2012) Puthoff served as a contracted technical analyst for Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, the prime contractor delivering UAP-related work to the Defense Intelligence Agency.
